Apple has confirmed that they will allow VOIP Calls over AT&T’s Cellular network on iPhone and the newly introduced iPad.
According to Apple “We revised our Program License Agreement in conjunction with our updated Software Development Kit for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad Apps,”
This is interesting, now with the new data plans available for the iPad, users will be able to make outgoing phone calls from an iPad with either of AT&T’s 3G data plans. So for just $30 a month, you can make unlimited calls to anywhere in the world.
iPad 3G Data Plans By AT&T (No contract is required)
- $14.99 for up to 250 MB per month
- $29.99 per month for unlimited data.
- Data package pricing for for iPad outside of the U.S will be available in June.

Between me and my parents we find the iPad versatile enough to transport in our bags and entertaining enough to whip out read ebooks from. Definitely a worthy investment. I’d love to see a decent amount of Diablo 3 beta on the platform.

People always complain the lack of features just like for the iPhone when it first came out, but they still secretly want to buy an iPad when they comes out. That is the beauty of Apple products no matter what people say you gotta have one.

I am absolutely looking to buy the iPad from Apple, and I am enjoyed to see what kinds of games and apps will be sold for it. I just don’t figure out some of the nitpicky criticisms in this website. Size of the bezel?? Pffff!
