Make 3G VOIP Calls On iPhone & iPad With Fring & Skype Over AT&T

Apple has confirmed that they will allow VOIP Calls over AT&T’s Cellular network for iPhone and the newly introduced iPad.

Skype is already working on a 3G version of their app for the moment and will be released soon to the App Store according to many sources.

While you wait for Skype, you can make unlimited VOIP calls with Fringe for iPhone. Fringe is a free VOIP app available on the App Store right now.

This is interesting, now with the new data plans available for the iPad, users will be able to make outgoing phone calls from an iPad with either of AT&T’s 3G data plans. So for just $30 a month, you can make unlimited calls to anywhere in the world.
